County Commissioners honored CERT for their response to local fires. County Judge James Oakley called the volunteer group “The modern-day equivalent of a  Minutemen militia, without the muskets.”

Klaeger was a judge for the Burnet County Court ind served  for the court from 2007 until the end of her last term January 2015.
