You also understand that your references may be checked and also a criminal background check will be processed following the first CERT class. You also understand that the Office of Emergency Management (OEM) is not obligated to accept you.

All applicants must be at least 18 years of age or older to join Burnet County CERT
Members must attend 22 hours of core training with Burnet County CERT team
Applicants must complete a criminal background check & reference check
Applicants must live and/or work in the Burnet County Texas region
